yeah it definately would be nice with a background, however i was asked not to by my client. but maybe when i get some spare time i'll add one for the fun of it

neat concept. but there are some blury parts that I don't understand to be blurry...

guessed, the white background is because it's a concept for a card game - where characters often have blank or black bgs--- but indeed it would look nicer with one - or at least with black bg
